Wu-Tang Clan to Sell a Single Copy of Secret Double Album for Millions
In a move against content saturation and the shift in creativity that has devalued our overall music experience, Wu-Tang Clan has announced the release of a single copy of a secret double album that’ll be available for purchase for an unspecified amount rumored to be in the millions. Titled The Wu – Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, the 31-track double LP comes outfitted in an engraved silver and nickle box, handcrafted over three months by British-Moroccan sculptor Yahya. The project has been in the works since 1997, when the clan teamed up with then 18-year old Tarik “Civalringz” Azzougarh on production, providing a vintage sound synonymous with the group’s early career. Comparing this project with that of a contemporary art piece, RZA spoke with Forbes, saying:
”We’re about to sell an album like nobody else sold it before, We’re about to put out a piece of art like nobody else has done in the history of [modern] music. We’re making a single-sale collector’s item. This is like somebody having the scepter of an Egyptian king. The idea that music is art has been something we advocated for years … And yet its doesn’t receive the same treatment as art in the sense of the value of what it is, especially nowadays when it’s been devalued and diminished to almost the point that it has to be given away for free.”
Once Upon A Time in Shaolin will be exhibited in museums, galleries and festivals, similar to any high-profile exhibition, before the one-of-a-kind LP will be made available for purchase. Stay tuned for more information from the secret album.

Snowy Ohio 50-Vehicle Pileup Kills 3, Badly Injures Trooper
Three people were killed and a state trooper was seriously injured Wednesday in a mammoth series of accidents involving more than 50 vehicles just 10 miles apart on the snowy Ohio Turnpike, state Highway Patrol said.
No information was immediately available on the people who were killed
Trooper Andrew B. Clouser, 29, was in serious condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo with injuries to his legs and abdomen. Clouser was pinned between two vehicles while responding to a crash that occurred about 1:25 p.m. ET in the eastbound lanes of the turnpike between Toledo and Cleveland, the patrol said.
Forty minutes later, vehicles began piling up after a second accident in the westbound lanes about 10 miles up the turnpike near Sandusky.

The accidents left dozens of vehicles twisted and disabled Wednesday on the Ohio Turnpike.

About 50 disabled and damaged cars and trucks stretched over 10.2 miles of the turnpike in both directions Wednesday, twisted and toppled like Tinker Toys. The turnpike authority told motorists to avoid the roadway in Erie and Sandusky counties.
By 9 pm. ET, one westbound lane of I-80 had been reopened, said state Highway Patrol spokeswoman Lt. Anne Ralston.
Highway Patrol was beginning to clear parts of the pileup after 9 p.m. ET, but they did not have an estimation of when it would be clear enough to let traffic begin to flow on the eastbound lanes, according to Ralston.
The authority blamed the accidents on the snowy weather, which that State Patrol said severely limited visibility.
A late-winter storm dropped up to 7 inches of snow overnight Tuesday and Wednesday in parts of the Midwest. The storm was moving into the Northeast on Wednesday night.

Foot Locker x Nike - Kobe Piano feat. Kobe Bryant
In the time that Kobe Bryant has been inactive this season, many would wonder how one of the league’s greatest players spends his off time. Nike and Foot Locker convened to imagine this situation, presenting a new commercial: “The Kobe Piano.” In it, Kobe is no longer an athlete, but crafts luxurious, beautiful pianos. The pianos are so elegant and refined that makes boys into men and “Lionel Richie’s tears cry [more] tears.” While the commercial, as the Kobe 9 itself, is a bit farfetched, it is entertaining nonetheless. Enjoy the above.
